Privacy Policy: Nuristani Group Socials

Who we are
This policy is published by Nuristani Group, a California real estate brokerage (DRE #02166546). Our social media accounts are managed by Nidia Nuristani (DRE #01473954).

What this covers
Nuristani Group Socials (the “app”) is a private tool we use to manage our own social media accounts. Only our own team uses it. It is not offered to the public.
The app connects, through each platform’s official tools, to accounts we own:
- our Facebook Page and Instagram account;
- our YouTube channel;
- Nidia’s LinkedIn profile (posting only);
- TikTok, where the app only uploads drafts that we finish and post in the TikTok app;
- Nextdoor, where the app only prepares a share link that we open and post ourselves;
- our Google Business Profile, once Google approves our access.
This policy covers people who interact with those accounts (by commenting, leaving a review, or sending us a direct message) and our own team. Each platform’s own privacy policy also applies to you there.
What the app does
- Drafts posts for our accounts.
- Shows us comments, reviews and direct messages sent to our accounts, and drafts possible replies.
- Reads statistics about how our accounts and posts perform.
Nothing is published or sent automatically. A member of our team reviews and approves every post and every reply, one at a time, before it goes out. Statistics are read only.
Information we handle
From people who interact with our accounts: your name or username and the platform’s reference number for you; the text of your comments, Google reviews and direct messages to our Facebook Page or Instagram account; and the date and time. We receive nothing about you from LinkedIn, TikTok or Nextdoor.
About our own accounts: our posts, photos and videos, and totals such as reach, views, website clicks and calls.
From our team: the sign-in authorization each platform issues when we connect an account, and a record of each approval.
Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, bank or loan account numbers, or ID images through social media.
Why we use it
To publish our own real estate information, to read and answer your comments, reviews and messages, to see which posts are useful, and to keep a record of what we published.
We do not:
- sell your personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in California law;
- use your information to train artificial intelligence models;
- use information from LinkedIn or Google to find sales leads or build marketing lists;
- combine platform data with other data to build profiles about you;
- target or exclude anyone from our housing content based on any characteristic protected by fair housing law.
Who else handles it
- The platforms themselves, which send us the data and receive the posts and replies we approve.
- Anthropic (Claude), the AI service that helps us draft posts and replies. When it drafts a reply, it receives the text of the comment, review or message and the surrounding conversation. It drafts only; a person on our team approves everything before it is sent.
- Telegram, if we use it for approvals. Approvals happen today on our own computer. If we add Telegram as an approval channel, each approval request would include what we propose to publish or send (text, links, photos and videos, or for large files a smaller copy or still frames) and the first name of the person we are replying to, never the text of your message. Telegram would keep those messages in our team member’s chat on its servers, outside the retention periods below, under Telegram’s own privacy policy.
We do not give your information to anyone else, except where the law requires it or to protect someone’s safety.
Where it is stored
- On one computer we control in San Jose, California.
- The app runs under its own account on that computer. Sign-in tokens are stored in files only that account can read; the AI assistant cannot read them.
- The app keeps an activity log of what it did. The log contains no text of any post, comment, review or message and no names. Where we replied to someone, it keeps only a short coded fingerprint of the comment or conversation reference, made with a secret key we can destroy.
No storage is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects your information, we will notify you and the platforms as the law and their terms require.
How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Words and names from Facebook and Instagram comment and message notifications | Removed 48 hours after we receive them (hourly job) |
| Reference numbers attached to those notifications | Deleted after 30 days |
| Comments, messages and reviews the app reads directly from a platform | Not saved by the app; read fresh each time |
| The AI assistant’s working history on our computer, which can include text it read | Deleted within 30 days |
| Approval records (what we proposed to send and, for a reply, the person’s first name and reference number; for a Google review, a review reference and a coded fingerprint of the reviewer’s name) | Deleted 7 days after creation (daily job) |
| Activity log (no text, no names) | Deleted after 90 days (daily job) |
| Draft posts (our own content) | Until we delete them |
| Statistics | Read when we look at them; not stored |
| Sign-in tokens | Deleted when we disconnect an account, right away when Meta tells us the app was removed, and within a day of a sign-in being revoked or expiring (daily check) |
Your comments, reviews and messages also stay on the platform where you posted them until you or the platform remove them.
Your choices
You can ask us what the app holds about you, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop replying to you through the app. Email nidia@nuristanigroup.com with the subject “Delete my social media data” and your username or profile link. Full steps are on our data deletion page.
We delete the words, names, reference numbers and approval records the app holds about you, and confirm within 7 days. One exception: Google does not give us a reference number for reviewers, so we cannot look up a reviewer’s approval record on request; it is removed automatically within 7 days of our reply.
California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law, including to know, correct and delete personal information, and not to be treated differently for using those rights. We honor the requests above for everyone.
Google and YouTube
The app uses Google APIs, including YouTube API Services and, once approved, the Google Business Profile APIs. Its use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy). Using our YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can remove an app’s access to your Google account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Children
Our accounts and the app are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Do Not Track
The app does not track you across websites, so it does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
